Message from the President

Our next General Meeting will be held on Monday evening, March 21st, at the usual place and time.  We have a wonderful guest speaker for the evening!  Cathy Plewes, a 2010 Athena Award nominee, will share her experiences in Kenya and the work of Beads for Africa.

Our business portion of the meeting will follow the speaker, allowing us time to break into workshops to discuss the two proposed National resolutions.  The resolutions were printed in this month's In Touch.

I have attached a copy of the new Constitution proposed by CFUW National.  We are currently forming a committee to review this proposal, on which our club will vote in August at the National AGM.  This version is an attempt to incorporate the bylaw amendments which we have already voted upon and clarify the language.
